Everywhere you look you can see and smell Disney magic in food form! It manifests itself as buttered to perfection popcorn, tropical island worthy pineapple dole whips, and gigantic turkey legs that look straight from medieval times. From snacks and specialty drinks to worldly lunches and five star dinners, the long walking Disney days will leave you craving every bit of it.
If you opt for a dining plan than be sure to take full advantage! Test your tastebuds with different flavors and indulge your sweet tooth in a Confectionary treat or two. And don’t worry, calories don’t count in Disney. No really, they don’t because you’re doing plenty of walking to balance all of those meals and snacks!
Every park has something different to offer and is known for their very own staples. Magic Kingdom, the heart of Disney World, is a sweet lovers haven! The mile high cinnamon buns at Gaston’s Tavern, Mickey shaped cookies, rice krispie treats, and candy apples at the Confectionary and Storybook Circus, and don’t forget those Dole Whips I mentioned before, all of these are droolworthy at first glance.
Meanwhile, Epcot is a well known paradise for foodies, friends, and families! You’ll tour the world in just one lap of the World Showcase and have the chance to taste your way around it too. Feel free to stick to your favorite cuisines or try something new like bratwursts straight from Germany or the fish and chips staple in United Kingdom.
And don’t worry, a dining plan isn’t mandatory, just an option! You’re free to dine however you choose when you vacation with Disney!
